I graduated from Kentucky State University with my B.A. in Elementary Education (K-5th) and received my M.A. in Special Education: Mild/Moderate (K-12th) from The Ohio State University. I specialize in teaching Reading, Writing, and Math. My goal is to not only challenge the students I work with but to engage them by making learning fun and meaningful. I believe students learn best when they can relate to what they are learning and know why it is important to learn.
Born and raised in Rochester , NY. He currently teaches 2nd grade with CCS. He has also written and published multiple childrens books. When he is not teaching he enjoys reading comic books and spending time with his family.
He received his degree in Elementary Education in 2003 from Oakwood University in Huntsville , Alabama. He also has a Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University.
I am passionate about helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve academic success. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing the "lightbulb moment" when a student finally understands a concept and realizes their potential. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student can grow and thrive.
I have been an educator for four years. I taught Kindergarten for two years and am currently preparing to begin my second year teaching 5th grade.
